Use PackLedge with a Keyboard or Small Screen
The same calculation should remain understandable when you navigate without a pointer or use a narrow screen.
Move through the page with the keyboard
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move among links, fields and buttons. A visible focus outline identifies the current control. Use the control’s normal keyboard action, such as Enter or Space, to activate it.
Input labels identify the measurement and unit. Read the field label before entering a value, especially where a radius and diameter or an area and length could be confused.
Use the error message to find the correction
A calculation error should be attached to the relevant field or summarised with a clear explanation. The message should describe what needs correction while preserving the entered value.
For example, opening deductions greater than a wall area need a measurement or unit correction. A round-post diameter equal to or larger than its hole diameter needs a geometry correction. A generic failure message alone does not explain either problem.
Follow the reflowed reading order
On a small screen, inputs, diagrams and results stack into a readable sequence. The content should not require you to operate a miniature desktop layout. Use the labelled input controls and review the quantity summary before adding a material item.
Wide data tables may need their own horizontal reading area. Keep the table’s column headings in mind when reviewing units and quantities; do not assume that a number belongs to the nearest visible label after scrolling.
Choose a comfortable visual mode
Use the theme control to choose the light or dark appearance. The preference can be stored in the current browser when storage is available. Both modes should retain visible selected, focused and error states.
The design uses restrained interaction motion and respects reduced-motion preferences. Colour is accompanied by labels or other state information so it is not the sole explanation of a result.
Use accessible actions for project files
Use the file-selection control to choose a JSON backup for import. Review validation messages before accepting the file. Export actions should identify the requested format and provide feedback about preparation or failure.
These instructions describe the intended available controls, not a claim of certified accessibility. If you encounter a barrier, note the page, control, browser and what you were trying to do. Use the current contact route when a public contact address is available, and avoid sharing private project details unnecessarily.
