Plan Wallpaper for Multiple Walls
Combine matching strip lengths without pretending every offcut can be reused.

Enter the measurements and product details, then calculate.
These tools estimate material quantities from dimensions you choose. They do not specify structural depth or load capacity.
Calculate each wall before grouping
For each wall, round width up to a complete number of strips. Add trim to the height and apply the chosen matching rule. Walls can share a strip group only when their effective cut length and roll specification agree.
Different effective lengths stay in separate groups. The estimator does not search all combinations of short and long cuts, and it does not join short offcuts into a full-height strip.
Example with two height groups
Use illustrative rolls 0.53 m wide and 10.05 m long, a 0.64 m straight-match repeat and 0.1 m total trim. Two walls 3 m and 2 m wide at a height of 2.5 m need six and four strips. Their effective strip length is 3.2 m. Ten strips at three per roll require four rolls.
A third wall 2 m wide and 2.1 m high needs four strips at an effective length of 2.56 m. Three fit in a roll, so this separate group needs two rolls. The conservative combined purchase is six rolls.
Understand what the conservative grouping means
A detailed cutting plan might combine some lengths differently, but this model does not claim that optimisation. Its result is easy to trace: each group has a known strip length, strip count and whole-roll purchase. Do not replace those groups with one total wall area.
Check the specification before exporting
Keep the wall names, heights, roll dimensions, match type and repeat visible. Confirm any starting alignment loss separately because the calculation does not add an unentered first-strip allowance.
Half-drop patterns, alternating A/B rolls and mural panels require a different planning model. They should not be entered as straight matching simply to obtain a number.
Frequently asked questions
Does the calculator reuse leftover lengths between different heights?
No. Different effective strip lengths are rounded independently. This is a checkable estimate rather than an optimised cutting plan.
